Imperial Cities  Tour

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat.

Upon your arrival in Casablanca you will be greeted by your guide who will accompany you throughout your stay in Morocco. Your tour begins with a visit to Casablanca, the economic capital and the largest city of the kingdom. You will visit the United Nations square, the Anfa district, the district of Habous, Mohamed V square, the beautiful Corniche Ain Diab and the fabulous Hassan II Mosque which is one of the largest mosques in the world (the guided tour of the mosque Hassan II costs $15). Then going to the administrative capital Rabat. A visit to the city includes Oudayas Kasbah, the necropolis of Challah, the Méchouar of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Dinner and accommodation in a riad or hotel.

 

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez.

After breakfast departure to Meknes, the city was founded by Moulay Ismail. You will see the famous gates of Bab Mansour and Bab Elkhmiss the large water reservoir Swani, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and Place El Hedim before going to see Roman ruins in Volubilis which are well preserved and will amaze you with their precious mosaics. You then continue to Fez. Dinner and accommodation in a riad or hotel.

 

Day 3: Fez

You will spend the entire day exploring the charming city of Fez in the company of a local guide. Fez is the religious and spiritual capital and the oldest of the imperial cities in Morocco. The program of the day will include the Alquaraouiyin visit which is the first university founded in the world, Mederssa Attarine, Mederssa Bouinania, the magnificent fountain Nejjarine, the royal palace entry, the Jewish Quarter “Mellah” where you will see the rich heritage of the Jews of Morocco that dates back several centuries, the walls of the Medina with the beautiful door Boujeloud, tombs of Merinids, tanneries, the famous souks always animated and finally you will enjoy a panoramic view overlooking the entire city and its surroundings. Dinner and accommodation in a riad or hotel.

 

Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Khenifra – Beni Mellal – Marrakech.

In the morning after breakfast you will head to Marrakech via the Middle Atlas with its enchanting forests, landscapes and villages. You will pass through the cedar forests that surround the city of Ifrane known by its ski resort and go on through the Berber villages of Azrou, Khenifra and Beni Mellal. Arrival in Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation in a riad or hotel in Marrakech.

 

Day 5: Marrakech

A whole day is devoted to visiting the many monuments of Marrakech with a local guide. The tour includes: Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia mosque, the Saadian tombs, the Jewish Quarter “Mellah”, the Menara gardens, the Majorelle Gardens, the souks containing various works of crafts, leather goods, carpets, spices, fabrics and jewelry. In the evening you will have a walk in Jamaa Elfna which is designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where you will enjoy a unique ambience. An optional evening with dinner at Ali Fantasia. Accommodation in the same hotel or Riad.

 

Day 6: Marrakech – Casablanca.

Free morning to relax then leaving Marrakech towards Casablanca. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Casablanca.

 

Day 7: Departure from Casablanca airport.

Transfer to Mohamed V airport in Casablanca and assistance in procedures before departure. End of service.

 

N.B

This tour may undergo changes depending on the airport of arrival and departure (Casablanca, Marrakech and Agadir).

 

The price includes:
